Ministry in progess.....

Praise God for the many wonderful things He has allowed us to experience since we started our Youth Discipleship Training.

I have been blessed by the faithfulness of our youth students. They always come early and they are very excited to learn. Mary Jane Bismonte received the Lord Jesus Christ and she is now faithful in attending our Discipleship class. Praise God!

We have grown in our prayer life as a group. After our class, we write our prayer concerns and then distribute the notebooks to the assigned person so that we can pray for that particular person for the whole week. When we started our prayer time, we only pray silently and later the assigned leader closes our prayer time. But two Sundays ago, we were led by God to pray individually and what a great blessing! Hearing each of them pray made me cry. Simple yet sincere prayers will make you cry. They prayed that their families will soon join us in coming to church, that they will be faithful in their quiet time and that they become a blessing to other people.

As of now, we are teaching them how to present the True Way of Salvation. Every Sunday afternoon, before we start our class, I ask two of our students to present the True Way of Salvation. They still find it hard to present everything correctly but I believe the correct practice will make them good in their presentation later on.

We are looking forward to our CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) training which will start on October 8, 2006 and every 1st Sunday afternoon thereafter. We are praying that on Summer, we can start our extension classes in the community.

Our prayer concerns:

1. Please pray for our Young People that they will be faithful in following our Lord Jesus Christ. That they will always remember that the evidence of their relationship in Jesus Christ is their obedience to God's Word and a changed life.

2. Please pray that they will soon share the True Message of Salvation to their families, friends and classmates.

3. Please pray that God will equip our young people through their CEF training in reaching out the children in the community and that God will prepare a place for us where we can hold our extension classes next year.

4. Please pray for the families of our Young People, that they will soon be together in coming to church and they will be united in serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

5. Please pray for our adult members, that they will be a good example to the younger generation, that they will leave a godly legacy. And may all who come behind us find us faithful!
